This year, we have been inspired by the work of artists such as Alexander Calder, Michael Craig Martin  and more recently Edward Heath Robinson and Tim Burton.

Anthony Gormley Project Essay

Gail Astbury worked with children from a London school to create full life size sculptures in the style of Anthony Gormley. The project included a visit to the artist's studio and his exhibition at the White Cube Gallery in Mason's Yard Piccadilly. But the most interesting and exciting part of the project was actually making plaster cast sculptures.

Building up the Layers

We continued with Constructing and Cladding our card sculptures today. We cut out templates and then used these to make sculptures that were more equally balanced than previously last week. The small model dwellings are turning out great, and if kept they will be perfect for your child's portfolio.
